Laurence Anyways Inkstick paintings

Realised I never posted any good pictures of this series of paintings I made...This is only a few of them but they are based on the film Laurence Anyways and became a reference point for a lot of my work such as my collages and 3D work...

Vertical Foliage

Have now seen Calder's exhibition at the Tate Modern for a third time; its safe to say I am a big fan. Only just realised the above piece is called Vertical Foliage and is based on plant forms. This is really interesting to me as I am currently working on a hanging garden piece.

Films of pipe cleaner sculptures

Work In Progress Exhibition and Pipe Cleaner Sculptures

For the Work In Progress Exhibition I created a interactive piece where people made up stories and taped them to the wall using pictures of things I have made and collected... I now plan to collect these stories and make a book from them.

Simultaneously, I have developed my sculptural work and began using pipe cleaners to create hanging work...

Work in progress

Currently working on a pipe cleaner hanging garden sculpture for an external project so have been researching and making different plant forms as preparation:

And here is my piece for our work in progress exhibition... it encourages the audience to collage and make stories on the wall:

Kristi Lippire

Having been working further on my wire sculptures and, for an external project, creating a hanging sculpture of plants made of pipe cleaners. While researching for it I came across this piece by Kristi Lippire called Hanging Garden which I love.

Bruno Munari

Have been installing our exhibition today. My piece is very rough. Am using this "Work in Progress" exhibition experiment with ideas about interactivity and story making. Have been considering how this has been achieved by the artist Bruno Munari in his game shown above. It is 72 transparent cards that can be put together to make different stories.
