Dot. The making of.

Watched the makers talk about it. Really interesting...

Dot. The world's smallest stop-motion animation character shot on a Noki...

Really love this animation. Would like to use combine small objects and my ceramics this way. If not in an animation, in photos.

ceramic animation

Planning on making a very short animation over xmas using a combination of ceramics and drawings..Was just looking for other people who'd done similar things..

Joji Koyama – Elsewhere #2

Just came across this film artist. Nice drawn patterns and colours! And the animation looks fairly simple like gifts all put together...It will be good research I think for the short animation I will be working on over the christmas break.

Work and research

Some of my work and research right now...

I like this image made in a workshop for the fiction project. Tool shapes of church windows and recreated them with text on an ink drawing I had done of a girl. I think the curved shapes and eyes compliment each other.

Some life drawings...exploring movement of the figure.

Continuing to make these patterns with pro markers letting them bleed through the page. Actually drawing from zoomed in versions of other pro marker patterns so the subject is becoming more and more abstracted.

Making more clay figures after being inspired my house of dreams to create some kind of imaginative fictional space...

Looking at other artists who explore spaces...

The House of Dreams:

Quick drawings done in the house...Later used to make ceramic forms....

Life drawings experimenting with character:

Small sets made from Lawrence anyways drawings photographed better:

My desk in the studio today:

Marcel Dzama

Was looking at Dzamas' work today in reference to my fiction project... Trying to figure out how I will create my fictional space.
