Finished Quilt

We finished our quilt today and thought about its function(s). I would like to take it back to Peckham and get photos with people there with it and see what they think.

Bathtub Drawings / Finished quilt patch

Sometimes I draw in the bath:

But more relevantly, here is my finished square to go on our ministry of colour quilt: looking forward to seeing it all together. My group will be sewing it all together on Saturday before assessment.

The back of it looks interesting too:

Originally I wanted to make my section of the quilt by screen printing my pattern on to it but unfortunately wasn't able to use the facilities so decided to embroider my section. In the end I'm really glad I did it this way after learning about the history of Camberwell and how the studio I now work in was once the "embroidery room". I now feel like that makes my section of the quilt even more of a tribute to Camberwell.
