Have been thinking about the work I have been making for the fiction project...so far it is a mixture of ceramics, wire sculptures, and drawings....I like the way these images look together in photos and have decided to experiment with collaging those photos together.... Much like illustrator Laura Carlin does:
The Lumber light show in London shows how light and sculpture can be used together, something I've been experimenting with in my work:
Collaging contrasting images together in an eclectic way reminds me of surrealism and how two familiar elements become strange when put together. An example of this is Méret Oppenheim's fur cup and saucer....
